Graeme IsaakoSinger / Dancer / Actor
 A talented dancer and singer, Graeme often feels that he needs to pinch himself at the success he has enjoyed so early in his career. Hailing from Sydney, the young man of Samoan / Maori heritage began singing lessons at the age of 12, it wasn’t long before this fast learner landed a role in the critically acclaimed Oliver at the Lyric Theatre in 2002, a show which ran for six months. Graeme then received a scholarship for performing arts, for Years 7 and 8 at Ashcroft High School in Sydney’s south-west. He completed his training with Janice Breen Performance Studios (JBPS) from 2003 till 2005. He’s performed at Disneyland in LA and Florida, and in New York with JBPS. Then in 2006, he completed the Urban Dance Centre’s fulltime course. Graeme’s preferred styles are Lyrical and Jazz, the quick, sharp moves a particular favourite. In 2008, Graeme was selected as a contestant in Australia’s debut season of So You Think You Can Dance. Quickly established as an audience favourite, Graeme finished the season ranked in the top 3 male dancers. It was not long before Graeme was cast to play the lead character of Nanki Poo in Simon Gallagher’s production of The Mikado. The show enjoyed sell out seasons in both Brisbane and Adelaide. 2009 has seen Graeme perform numerous dance performances, the highlight to date being performing alongside Jessica Mauboy at the Vodafone MTV Australia awards. Early 2010, sees Graeme embark on a two year Mormon mission. Graeme has stated that once his mission has concluded he will be anxious to re-kindle his career in dance, music and acting |
